Why train with me?

I am extremely passionate about my work. Helping other people become strong, physically and mentally, and lead a happier & healthier life is my chosen mission.

Most of my clients are women who are starting out as complete fitness beginners. Training with weights, especially at the gym, can be intimidating. I know the feeling because this is how I started off myself! With all my experience, I can make your life and fitness journey a lot easier.

I will teach you how to work out independently and confidently among the crowd and in the weights room.

Antje is a great coach! We started when I was completely out of shape and she was happy to adapt the workouts as I got fitter and lost weight. John Reed Prenzlauer Allee, Berlin Mitte

Train with me at one of the coolest gyms in Berlin, located close to Alexanderplatz. On two floors, this John Reed flagship gym has a huge variety of equipment, both machines and free weights.  It also has one of the largest functional training areas where I am spending most of the time with my clients during our sessions.

You don’t need your own contract in order to train with me at this gym. You get free entry for our training sessions. Trial session: 45€.

Gold's Gym, Berlin Spandau

Train with me exclusively at Germany’s first and largest Gold’s Gym in Berlin, Spandau. On two floors and 5.300 m2, this Gold’s Gym flagship gym is a training paradise! Enjoy our sauna and chill-out spa area after the session. I don’t offer continuous personal training here, but you can book single sessions with me for example to work on a particular skill.

You don’t need your own contract in order to train with me at this gym. You get free entry for our training sessions. 

How do we train?

Every client is different and so are their training needs. Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who brings fitness experience, training is 100% customised for every client.

I am specialising in strength training for women. This means that our training will involve weights. We will make you stronger and work on improving your coordination, stability and balance.

Based on your goals and needs, we will figure out the right training for you. As a qualified trainer I am able to progress each client in a specific way.

Quality first

While no self-employed personal trainer in Germany is legally required to hold any licenses, a solid education is a must in my opinion. Right after that, it’s the work experience that strengthens a trainer’s skill set. Make sure to check out my client reviews below to get a feeling for my clients’ happines.

I started training with Antje after the end of the lockdown to ease my way into exercising again and gain more confidence in lifting weights.
Antje is a great trainer and made me feel super comfortable from day 1. She knows exactly when I need to be pushed and challenges me at every session.
I’ve not only been able to gain some muscles and strength, but I have also seen a huge improvement in my confidence and feeling about my body.
I can 100% recommend Antje as a PT and I’m already looking forward to our next session.

Ich habe mit dem Training bei Antje angefangen, weil ich meine während des Lockdowns gewonnenen zusätzlichen Kilos wieder loswerden wollte, aber auch, um stärker zu werden, damit ich beim Klettern und Bouldern Fortschritte mache. Ich war/bin ein absoluter Neuling beim Krafttraining und die Vorstellung ins Fitnessstudio zu gehen war nie mit Freude verbunden bei mir. Zu Beginn hatte Antje dennoch prophezeit, dass ich Spaß am Training haben werde nach einiger Zeit. Ich war sehr skeptisch und habe es einfach nur als Mittel zum Zweck (Abnehmen und stärker werden) gesehen. Tatsächlich sollte Antje Recht behalten. Das Training mit ihr macht mir mittlerweile wirklich viel Spaß und ich freue mich jedes Mal darauf. Ihre ruhige und ehrliche Art beim Training und auch in den netten Gesprächen zwischendurch schätze ich sehr. Über den Prozess innerhalb von nur 10 Wochen bin ich super erstaunt, glücklich und sogar ein bisschen stolz. Ich selbst steige noch nicht durch das Trainingskonzept durch. Das liegt aber daran, dass ich wenig frage und das ganze gedanklich erstmal abgegeben habe. Ich bin gespannt auf den weiteren Prozess und freue mich auf die zukünftigen Trainingseinheiten.

Ich bin einfach nur begeistert von Antje. Ich habe große Freude an unseren Trainingseinheiten. Jedes Training setzt neue Reize und ich merke wie mein Körper sich immer mehr zum positiven verändert. Ich liebe ihre ruhige und motivierende Art. Ich bin super zufrieden und sehr glücklich, dass ich sie habe.

I already had previous experience with PT, which is why I can comfortably claim that Antje‘s approach is very unique and individual to her client‘s need. She continuously takes time to understand what you want and how she can motivate you best. She pushes where you need to be, but also appreciates your limits.
She is super knowledgeable about all things affecting your training and fitness, and she is always willing to share this.
Also she is just a very kind, open and funny person to have around…and you can be assured to have some laughs in between lifting those kilos.

I have started training with Antje in a phase of recovery after some serious injury and no sports for more than a year. I couldn’t think of a better person to help me gain back stability, confidence and fitness. It‘s definitely worth every penny – only wish I could afford to train with Antje multiple times a week.

Thanks to Antje’s empathic approach I felt comfortable and safe, something I believe is crucial when it comes to training. Antje is highly professional and knowledgable, helping not just to train but focussing on sharing her wisdom and teach the individual to learn the “why” and not just the “how”. She quickly assesses areas of strength and development and builds out a personalised plan to work on. My goal had been to improve the technique and feel more comfortable with weight training, which after only 4 sessions feels already so much better. Antje helped me with ongoing coaching and finding ways that work for me. Her additional recommendations for weekly exercises in my personal time have been highly effective (thanks for the sore stomach muscles!) and I incorporated them into my routine.

Overall Antjes uplifting spirit makes every session fun; you’ll always leave with a smile and the good feeling of having done something good for your mind and body.
